I recognize the fact that the Veyron is not in "top speed" mode...

what I care most tho, is a $120K car keeping up with a $1.7mil car...

this means that in the not too long future, one can realistically challenge a veyron with an "affordable" car...

I've seen some wicked videos of the Switzer GT-Rs. Keeping up with and beating liter bikes, destroying Porsches and Lambos. Pretty awesome stuff!

If the only contest is straight line acceleration than its much cheaper than 120k to kill a veyron... 30k would be plenty... I can think of many local cars that would crush it in the 1/4.
