How long did your original tires last for your mazda 3? How many KM?

I think there's a decent sized thread on this topic already. Try searching for it (if I have time later I'll try to find it for you). Mine lasted 2000 kms. Got the car in Dec 05, put winters on the same month, swapped the crappy RSA's for something a little better.

Most tires that come with the cars will last between 30 000-40 000 kms. My father is an executive with Michelin, so I kind of have the inside scoop. When you buy a car, don't even look at the tires. The may be michelin Pilots, or some big name like that, but they ARE NOT the same as the ones you would buy in a store. The companies have large contracts with each of the car companies, and they manufacture the the same brand tire, but they are not made with the same compounds, they are usually much cheaper tires.

69K km on 16" Toyo Proxes. That is just over 2 yrs of 4 season driving. But they were worn down to the tread bar and had flat spots that made it sound like there was a problem w/ the bearings.

Replacing just after 3 summers? I hope Mazada's stock tires are not that bad. My 2 previous GMs with 4 year lease had the original tires on full term (summer and winter) ~80000km and when I return them still had lots of rubber. No problem with the lease at all when returning. Nowadays even the cheapest tires have rating for 80,000-100,000km of normal driving.

I got about 62K km out of the 16" Toyos, could go for 1 more season but just landed some Speed3 rims and Bravuris 2 tires ; )

mine had approx 20 k,toyo proxies,very poor tire,I made the dealership put 4 goodyear at no charge to me.I just bought the car and the tires were all worn and made terrible noises,and the sold me the car like that...Now I need to find winter tires and rims,Nova scotia is a not so nice in the winter.

30,000 km Toya tires....lots of problems since the first year. Air leakage a big problem. Very disappointed.

My first Mazda 3....10 years ago....I had Michelin tires and replaced them only after 95,000 km. Never had any problems.

Mine had the 16" toyos and bought my car in the winter so by 15,000km and half the summer they were junk. I have fairly rough driving conditions for tires.
