if you throw on 19 or 20 inch wheels on a mazda and they way 10 or 15 pounds more then stock ur gonna have problems no matter who u are (not just driving but being laughed at if they look dub). u will lose jump and what feels like power. your car will feel not so nimble and such etc ... bu tthis is stuff anyone car tell. even when i had my first set of 17s on my car and they were 5 pounds more then stock i noticed. its all about knowing the facts and making sure your stick to whats rite for your car and such. this did bring up alot of info newbie's to rims should keep in mind and look into. good little write up.

Meh. Life is short. Go big or go home. I'd like to run 19"s one day.

Guess you will be buying a SUV or a Pick up as your next ride?

I think the article is referring to 20+ wheels. I think while you would notice a slower pick up and longer brake times putting 19s on a 3 it wouldn't be in the realm of dangerous.

But 24's on a stock brake set up older caprice and you are looking for disaster.

This is enthusiast forum. We're all here because we don't want to run stock. There are many things that are "bad" for us in life. Having big rims is no more dangerous for your life than smoking or drinking.

You guys can run stockers while I'm trying to get my hands on a set of 19"s.

depends on the car my buddy runs 20" on his cts and they work perfectly. 19/20 on a mazda 3 is just simply retarded.

I'm happy with my 18's on my MS3.. 19 would be nice.. but 18's still look good.. they're big but not too big.
