Weird idle behavior

Hey all, on my 2010 GS I have a weird issue when I turn the car on. It idles at about 2.5k for 3 or 4 seconds and then makes a sound like the engine is farting and then drops to a somewhat smooth 1k, anyone else notice this or should I have it checked?

This is normal. The engine will idle higher when initially starting (when it's cold).

As suggested, this is a normal process of the engine heating up from a cold environment. If you still feel its a issue, I would suggest checking out the FITV(fast idle thermo valve)

I have a '10 GX. Sounds normal. i usually wait until it idels till 1K before moving.
