I had to open my headlights on the weekend to take care of something unrelated so I decided this was the perfect time to install the Retro Store clear lenses I picked up through the Group Buy. Thanks to Bmwww for setting up the group buy!

The install was extremely easy and it was even easier to bake the headlight a second time. I decided to do the install without the colour mod and as you can see, I still got some blue at the cutoff.

I then used Xenon's guide for aligning the headlight, I just needed to raise/lower each side to get it to match the diagram he pointed. For some reason the new lenses changed the alignment.

I think the alignment is pretty good but of course you guys can tell me otherwise. :)

Does your car have OEM HIDs?

That shows what OEM should look like....3rd pic in the attachments shows the white screw. That adjusts up and down. Or at least mine has that (OEM 2008.5) and it works for me

Here's a pic of mine...not the greatest ( I gotta find a white wall ) but you get the idea:

Cut off is def there and with the washer mod you can see the blue:

Looks like your passenger side is a bit too high. See how on the driver's side the cutoff isn't straight?

Yeah. I saw yours and will have to make an adjustment to the left side.
