View Full Version : StarCraft 2
The long awaited sequel... any players here?
I am debating if I want to run it on Mac or on bootcamp PC, probably just go mac for ease of use. I Wonder if there would be much difference if any.
Time to get back in to geek mode, I dont play much video games anymore but I'll make time for this one.

not bad.... still needs to be worked on.
played beta also.
and ranking system needs to be worked on too...
too easy to get to diamond league. and then.. you have no where else to go.
They always have that problem, Diablo is the same way.

I use to play starcraft.. but I don't think I'll be playing the sequel.
I'm more into FPS games these days.. the only games I play that's like SC would be AOE/AOE2/AOE3 from time to time

Its not just this game anymore.
Activision Blizzard is nothing but a bunch of *******s...they killed Infinity Ward, and its all about money. They won't include LAN because of piracy. I can tell you now, once the game is released, someone will find a way to make it LAN capabe in some way or another.

It's stupid they're leaving LAN and online out due to piracy.. PC piracy for the most part is easy to beat nowadays.. yes you can play a copied NON online version.. but any of the latest games that require online play.. you need a legit key and to even think about hacking those games for online.. normally requires some sort of special dongle.

I'm sure a copy of battlelan or something like it will be cooked up shortly.

After playing the Beta I could care less if it had lan or not.... I wont be playing it due to the fact the simplistic, rehashed gameplay sucks. Starcraft is an RTS for 6 year olds.
Men of War is the best RTS currently available if you like realism.

SC2 is on my list for sure. My friends play quite a bit and whoop my ass lol.
Bestbuy seems to have a promotion going on where you save $5 if you pre-order with them online.
