Need URGENT help!

I removed part of the console to see if I can route a cable through and now it doesn't want to go back. Now I can't drive...well easily anyways.

Would appreciate some help, even if someone can come over and fix it.

I know when I did this for a Mazda6, the shifter won't fit through the shift gate unless it was in neutral. I put the keys in, turned the car to ON (but not start it), engage the park brake, and shifted the shifter to neutral.

Key in ignition. Foot on break. Put car in gear to get more space. Be careful.

Its in neutral, it wouldn't come off otherwise. Anyway in Markham wanna drop by lol?

Try moving it into drive.. foot on break.. be careful.

Tried that to, its weird. I am being really careful, all it takes is one too much force and I wreck something.

Your inserting the top part by the ashtray first? Once that is in place, it should pop right in.

I am trying to do just that but theres this semicircular piece that fits over the gearbox. I am not sure I can detach it ...

...whew. Crisis averted...turns out you have to separate the black portion with the markings from the silver border and then you can fit the ashtray/12v in.
