I've had this '06 Mazda 3 GT for almost a month and a half.

Last week I got into the car and the cel was on. Drove home and planned on going to a dealer or something during lunch the next day but the next morning the light was gone. I stopped for gas that morning and had the guy check the oil cuz the light was on, he mentioned the gas cap was lose and I figured that must have been it even though I had filled up 4 or 5 days previous. I also got the oil changed on Friday.

Today after work the light was on again. But after gassing up then stopping at a friends place for 15 minutes it's now gone again.

Other things: 2 or 3 weeks ago the car wouldn't start at all. All the accessories came on but nothing happened when turning the key to start, the battery light was on. Jiggling the battery leads go the car started and the next day I cleaned up the terminals and that hasn't happened again. Probably not related.

Twice over the past 3 days the car seems to struggle to turn over. Instead of starting up instantly, it seems to chug for a second before going. Don't know if this is related but it last seems to only be starting recently.

Thoughts? Should I get a dealership to look it over?

I agree with bluemazda3, best bet is to take it in. Depends on where you live though as myself and other members do have code readers but trying to arrange time to meet with them can be hectic. Dealers are usually the best bet though.
