Hey guys. So I've been looking around on the forum for about half an hour and cant seem to find anything on this.. I've been told that the 04-09 Eibach Pro-Kit will fit on the 2010 Mazda 3 GS Sport. I've seen pictures before of the 2010 Pro-Kits before but never of the 04-09 one's. If there is anyone out there who has put 04-09 Prokits on a 2010 could you please assist me in finding a picture so I can see what it looks like? Thanks!
...btw I have used the search function and couldn't find anything...

that looks real good is there a big price difference in the 09 springs compared to the 10?

no real price difference but the 04-09 gen springs are lower then the ones for the new gen

My prokits cost $190 and my RM's cost $190. In the states. You guys get slammed with a lot of taxes though.
IMO, the newer gen prokits have a drop that's a little too subtle. The stock wheel gap on the 2010s is huge, so the 2010 prokits almost look similar to a first gen 3 in terms of wheel gap. And for the same price, you'll get a lower drop with little to no rubbing as long as you don't go nuts with your wheels offset haha
Just my two cents (I'm drivin a 2010 lowered on 04-09 prokits btw lol)
Im worried about droping it because Im going to keep my GS rims but throw some winters on them and im hoping to get a nice set of 18's but im affraid of the summer set rubbing or the winter set rubbing if i go down too much

I'm running 18" rx-8 rims with my drop and haven't rubbed once. That being said, rx-8 rims are 18x7.5, so anything wider may cause rubbing. Also, when it comes to tires, almost everyone recommends 225/40/18 for 18" rims. You won't have any issues.

Thanks everyone. I'm heading down to Next Mod this afternoon to pick up my 04-09 Pro-Kits. But, along with these Pro-Kits, do you recommend I get anything else such as a rear camber kit or anything else that I could benefit from with use of these springs? I'm just wondering if anything else is necessary..

Thats real good news then. I guess if the 18's dont rub then I wont have an issue with 16 inch winters.
and all these pictures are making me want to do this even more lol. How much does next mod have the 04- 09 kits for? also i read that the drop for the '10 is like 1.2 in the front and like 1.1 in the back- something along those lines...any exact numbers on what the older springs drop exactly is?

Im on stechs in the front and sportlines in the rear (2.0inch/1.9inch stech rears are only 1.5inch :o ) running RX-8's with 225/40 and very minor rub when i am at full lock. No biggie though

Good news old gen camber arms fit the 2010. Peice of advice though use a hoist for the love of all that is good. The rear subframe has to be lowered to get at the passenger side bolt at the top. Stupid fuel filler neck
camber kits...necessary for the springs? what do they do?

for the drop that i have yes i needed the camber kit. Basically what it does it adjusts the angle of the tire to positive or negative camber. it helps greatly to prevent uneven tire wear.
way a tire should sit

Here's before and after pics of my car with SPC adj camber links. Mazda puts negative camber in the rear so that your car will understeer and grandma won't get into trouble if she enters a corner to hot. Everyones natural instinct is to let off the gas when you feel understeer. Lowerering your car exagerates it. Adjustable camber links are good for any car that is lowered. First of all flush is a good look and second of all by lessening the rear camber you can dial out the understeer. If you have a rear sway you can get the car to handle really neutral or even oversteer by playing with the rear camber settings. The first pic is 09 prokits no adj camber links. The second pic is RM 1.75 with SPC's installed.

wow okay i see the difference. I always thought that when i saw a little civic slammed to the ground and the tires looked angled that it was an illusion or something. I guess not. So no matter what way you look at it camber kits are a good idea i guess

if you are going with a subtle drop like prokits then you will not need a camber kit. the specs will be just within spec. If you however go with a sportline kit then i would highly recomend it. Just as a side note though the camber wear on a tire is caused by toe being out of adjustment and by the actual camber setting. My camber wear was way off in my previous 3 but i kept the toe at proper spec and not a single camber wear issue

i'm currently on 04-09 eibach's.
my suggestion is, if you're not planning to add a kit, go for these springs. if you ARE, go for 2010 springs. why? i'm scraping the ground like crazy!!!!!!!!!
