Ok. Put on ASA AR7 rims mid april, same size as factory, no upsize. Now I have a bad front bearing.
Bearings were replaced April 2009 by Mazda. Dealer is saying that the wheels did it, maybe because of the wheel offset. 2mm difference. or because of bad alignment.
I call BS, but they won't do anything. I believe that bearing should not fail that quickly.

Any ideas?

Are you lowered? The 2mm difference in offset shouldn't add additional stress to the bearings to the point they fail after only one year.... but I could see being lowered on stiffer springs contributing to bearing failure if you drive a lot on poor roads.

Not lowered, stock shock and springs. Hotchkiss bars but that is not important. I wish there was a formula that could figure out the change of force on the bearing for different wheel size/weight and such.
