August 2, 2010 - Mosport Track Day

Went to a track day at the big MOSPORT track this holiday monday with Nextmod and Advance Powerhouse. We had quite a few of cars going onto this big track including the Voltex 350z. The day started off with a old Porsche blowing his engine so a good 30min was spent cleaning up an oil spill. After that, we rotated between the advance drivers and the newbie drivers. This track has everything setup very good, all the marshals were doing their job and being very strict on the rules which was good.

Throughout the day, a few more minor engine problems with a few more cars such as coolant leaks, hoses coming loose... but all in all, nothing major until the final 15min when a freshly built RSX hit the wall. Driver is okay with minor injuries which required a trip to the local hospital along with a 6 hour emergency room wait time...

Mosport is a very fun track to be driving on... maybe next time, I'll give it a try with my car!

nice pics! I went once to a bmw session with a friend, and rode shotgun for a few laps. It's a fun track...elevation changes and blind turns. I feel that my 2.0l would be underpowered if i ever took it there, haha...it's a fast track.
