The title says it all.. well, not quite!
I had a couple questions regarding HID kits. First of all, what is a good kit for under $200? Are there any that are under $100? I found DDM Premium Slimline HID kit for $69.99 usd. Is this an okay kit?
My car being a 2006 mazda 3, I read a bit about needing to use a relay, or did I mis-read something?
I plan on running the HIDs with my DRL/low beam. Is it possible to run it with both or do i have to choose just one?
Sorry for so many questions! If these have all been asked and answered before, I just cannot seem to find them through search. If so, just point me in the right direction and I will gladly read to my hearts desire!

I have a question, I was wondering if I would need a relay for a HID kit?
I have a 2006 mazda 3 gx.

Yes, you will need a relay to draw power directly from the battery. You cannot use the stock low beam harness in DRL mode unless you use an antiflicker device to run your low beams as HID DRL. In either case you will need a relay.

Okay, so I would need a capacitor? Hmm... well, I am getting an HID kit tonight. How should I work it? Is there a way to bypass the DRL and use low-beam only? I'm going to buy it regardless I just want to know before so I can make sure to buy the relay and spacer.
THanks!

All your questions have been answered before. I have the DDM slim kit and has worked very well for me. I also have the antiflicker device so my low beam DRL are HIDs. There are plenty of threads where alot of questions have been discussed. Here are a few links for your reference:

A capacitor (antiflicker device) is only needed if you intend to run your low beam DRLs as HIDs and in this case you can use your low beam stock harness. In other cases you will not be able to use use your low beam stock harness.
Hope that helps.
