No. People have that setup and unless I'm mistaken, no rub.

i had that size running in the rear on sportlines and no rubbing but the fronts are a different story. I am pretty sure that you will be ok judging the fact you are not as low as i am

Your going to rub garrantied. I got pro-kits on my car with 225/45/17 and i'm very close to rubing...225/45/18 is way to tall of a tire..your going to need 225/40/18

That is the proper size...225/45/18 is way taller then 225/45/17

that doesnt really matter, I was lowered on progress(same drop as prokit but sag alot faster) springs in my old car and had a set of 235/45r17's on and I did rub. Had my 225/45r18 on the car and that did NOT rub

Their is no way that tire size will fit with out rubing

I just measured gap between my tire and my front fender and i got 1.5" clearance..now 225/45/18 is 1" taller then stock size how would it not rub when going over bumps and the wheel at full lock when you got about a half an inch of clearance???

yes thats correct the 235/45r17 rubbed on the rear as in ate away my fenders but it wasnt a big deal went in there and bent them back in to shape and everything was fine until the next time it had happened again

Yeah I have had 2 mazda 3's my old mazda 3 05 with progress on it where i had the 235/45r17 which i later went to the 18's with 225/45r18which I had no rubbing issues with. Now I have my 10 with s-techs up front and sportlines in the rear on 225/40r18 in the front and 225/45r18 in the rear as the fronts got mangled in my accident. But what I am saying is that you should be ok with that tire size you specified as your drop is a subtle 1.4 i think and mine is almost if not 2.0. And to top it off my srpings are from the older generation

That makes no sence at all..225/45/18 is taller then 235/45/17..it makes no sence what your saying..you were rubing a shorter tire and the taller tire was not rubing??

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
235/45-17 4.2in 12.7in 25.3in 79.6in 796 0.0%
225/45-18 4.0in 13.0in 26.0in 81.6in 777 2.5%

Yes that is what I am saying. I cannot remember the offset on the wheels but i know for a fact I was not rubbing with the 18s in your spscified size. I didnt rub on my 10 either with a lower drop.

the reason why the 235 tire rubbed was because it's wider

only when the wheel is at full turn (wheel lock). Maybe if a go in a big *** pot hole it might rub but not so far

JUst be care when you go over bumps just in case you do damage.
