View Full Version : Im looking to find out what amp i would need to run 2 JL's

Hey guys i have a non ported double 12" JLW3 sub. I got them off a private buyer, the specs on the back of the speaker is 12w 3w3-2 that's all i know about them. if any one knows what amp wattage im looking for or what 2 amps would work. like 2 500's or something like that

This is your speaker. They have 300watts rms each. Optimal variant is to connect them in series as 4ohm load(actually 3.3). So you need in 600-800rms at 4 ohm mono-block or two-canal bridged amplifier. The brand and class depends on your budged.
