Rim Color for an Orange '04 sport

Planning to get some rims but came across the rim painting post, and got me thinking i can paint my stock for the time being untill i get new rims (plan to get by march, as no point for now as i'll be switching to winter tired on the stock rims in a few months.

Just wondering what color will go good with the Orange 3 Sport, at the moment i painted the calipers, brakes and hubs of the rotors black, which looks decent enough. don't know if i should do a basic gloss black to match or get an alternate color.

Good point but i went through almost 3 pages of posts not a single orange car. Most pics i find online are either Chrome or black, I may paint my stock rims black and leave the mazda logo chrome, on that not anyways to buy black lug nuts?

I saw Broli's ride on a different post when he get the new bumper, didnt' really show off the rims on that one as it was focusing on the bumper. I do love the front lip on his.

Gonna hit CT again tomarrow and check out the paints McCowan location has them behind the counter now stupid ass people kept spraying them in the store. and wash my gonna start posting some pics and plans on what to do

Wish i had the cash, which is why i'm opting to paint them now, and use them as winter rims in the future. As of right now i scouted some shops all the same paint and i'm leaning to a gun metal finish

Well i'm debating black or gunmetal rims or a combination of both on my rims, and painting the calipers orange to match the car, and an orange line around the edge

The indents at the end of the spokes would work well for this, with a chrome logo

Just need to measure the size of the rim and how big i will make the nail, print out some stencils on a large label. i think with this an orange line may be a little too much, but we'll see when the time comes

Remember this is too tide me over till march or april and can get proper rims, then use these as winter rims

agreed looks much more like a golf tee to me than a nail. If you had rims like that but in a black chrome finish then painted the "tees" body colour I think it'd look nice

DO i need to get the Wheel paint? because the choices are very limited. i was thinking of using the wheel paint primer, any other type of paint for the color, then a wheel paint Clear Coat?
