Hey Guys,
I have been browsing these awesome forums a lot in the process of purchasing my first car and it helped me a lot. It saved me from getting screwed over by downsview auto and all lol. I finally joined this site today to post some questions and get your help.

I got my first car last week and its a Mazda 3 and I am already in love with it. its 2004, auto, grey color and I got it from a private seller with 92000 clicks.

Apparently the car looks fine to me but I do not know about cars at all and neither I got it checked from a mechanic or someone. The body is fine so is the drive, just the brakes make a squeaking sound at times and the car seems to vibrate a bit when its standing. It might be just in my head but since I paid so much, I am just concerned and worried if I got the right thing and not a lemon. So once I am satisfied, I would enjoy the car more :)).

So yeah my question is; should I take the car to a mazda dealership or some random workshop?
What is the best mazda dealership around? I heard the QEW/oakville one is the best. Any suggestions?
I heard about the point inspection. should I get that done? And how much does it usually cost?
Also there is a slight rust spot on the brake light on the trunk, what is the best and cheapest way to get rid of it?

Guys please help me out, it will be much appreciated. :)))

Have a great weekend.

take it to street performance.

random shop.. (im not saying all shops are like this) but might try to take advantage of you.

STREET PERFORMANCE... from my experience... i don't know much about cars either... give you a nice quote and stick to it.

I believe they are the most suggested shop by TM3'ers also.

just take it to any body shop, you don't need to take it to the dealer.

hey..
thanks for the reply.
do you suggest any? I hear a lot about "street performance", any suggestions?
Also what do you think would be the cost of repairing the rust spot from the trunk light?
:)

its best to take it to street performance like many mentioned. Jimmy is the mechanic who can check out your car for you and Richard does the body work there so he can give you a quote to fix your car. They charge very very good prices. You will not regret going there
