As for HALO: Reach. I've never been a fan of the HALO series, I find it lacking in fast-paced action when compared to other shooters.

IMO, that trailer sucked. The music was the best part about it. That made it feel deep.

Halo isn't as fast as say COD but it's still a great game. One of, if not my favourite game to play. I think I have the most fun with it.

ODST was such a let down that I don't even consider it a part of the Halo series. I had more fun with Halo Wars. The cut scenes were just awesome.

I enjoyed ODST because it was different. The extreme amount of isolation was a bit much but overall I enjoyed the game quite a bit. It really should have just been a download. Firefight was a good addition though.

LOL. Get the new xbox otherwise, you can get the older model on clearance with a few games if there still around.

funny thing is my console didn't RROD, it just ... stopped and froze like an overheated computer. though, i haven't tried turning it back on, which would probably RROD in my face.. haha. gonna try it tonight actually. (didn't help that i had the crappy chipset.. jasper? falcon? forget which was which)

but i think you guys are right. no point getting the old style system with their overheated-ness. just get a new one. DAMN inferior products and forcing me to re-buy the same thing.

The HD from the old style 360 does not fit the new "slim" version. All the chipsets from the previous system were crappy!! LOL!! You can still get the Older arcade model for 149.99 Then your 20gig HD would work. You can also get the 4gig new model, and use a portable USB hard drive. It's limited to 16gigs :loco per drive, but it'll still get you 20 gigs.:thumbsup

I heard that too. I'm pretty sure it's true as he was near/on Reach at one point during the whole story. He actually escapes from Reach during its destruction.

all of the halo sound track is always great. it adds to the mood immensely. i hope this one doens't disappoint too.

if master chief is gonna be in it, maybe it will be a special unlckable event after you clear the game or something like that.

I usually finish the campaign first before I go multiplayer. This way I get used to the controls and all the armour before embarressint myself on line!

I will have to see. I will be crushing the campaign as well but I may dabble with Firefight and some matchmaking games.
