Hey everyone, I want a set of winter rims for my 2006 GT Sport HB. I want to go with 16's. Instead of me calling/emailing all the sponsors can anyone give me a heads up as to where I should go/call?

Should I go OEM or just throw any aftermarket rim on there? Remember I'm only using them for winter. If anyone is selling a set that will fit my car let me know, I may be interested.

Cheers!

the cheapest for a set of OEM rims still probably run minimum 100 bucks each, if you are luckey.

From the junk yards it's anywhere from 120 -180 for a rim and tire. You can probably call and ask for just the rim however

I personally am not a fan of steelies... I use my stocks rims for winter and I bought aftermarket for summer.

But if your going with steelies you can pick up a set of 4 from most sponswers on this site for about $200

If your going to purchase aftermarket wheels for summer, use your OEM rims. If your planning on keeping your OEM wheels, save the money and get steelies... unless price is no option :)

Call Joe at MOT 416-642-1333, I am sure they are still clearing out an overstock of OEM steel rims from last winter, hurry though because I am sure once October comes those rims will be used for the upcoming season

+1

No love for steelies. However, it all depends on what your budget is and if your ok with the look. As long as your running snow tires in the winter, thats all that really matters.
