mazdaspeed 3 on 225/45/18

Searched the forum but didnt find much

will be replacing my orignal tire soon
since lots of good tires arn't made in 215/45/18

Im debating on getting 225/45/18
so my question is : Will it rub ??
other option might be 225/40/18???

ps: currently at stock height but may get a drop next year

Ya, you'll be fine with 225/45/18's. That is the size I am running on my MS3. No rubbing issues at all. You can even go wider i believe on a different rim set-up. I believe a number of members run 235's.

With a 45 series tire wouldn't it rub if you do eventually get it lowered? I think a 40 series tire may be better if you are lowering it
