Recently I had my cabin air filter replaced, and since then.......the controls have been weird.

If I turn the fan selector to feet, the A/C turns on. From my understanding, it should only come on when its selecting Feet/Defroster and Defroster settings.

And tonight because it was chilly, I had heat on and selector to feet, the A/C compressor kicked in....

Any ideas???

its working like it should... you probably never noticed it before
the cabin filter is no where near the controls... only the wires get messed with under the glovebox

Normal. The AC kicks in on either of the window, window/floor or floor settings.

If it truly is acting weird ... there's a sensor that gets disconnected when changing the filter... it might not be plugged back in correctly. If you pull the PJB cover and kickplate on the passenger side of the centre console you should be able shine a light in and see if everything is connected properly. (The filter is accessed by removing an access cover that is at the lower front of the blower housing)
