Hey,
I’m looking for opinions on how to best setup my iphone in the car.
This would be easy if I had built in Bluetooth, but I only have the 2010 3gx…
My current setup is a basic charger and the AUX input, but these are a pain in the ass to deal with while driving!

I’m not too concerned about hands free calling etc…. just something simple for music.

I’ve found a couple iphone mounts that mount directly into the car’s power adapter, such as this one: http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/roadtrip#
But they haven’t received great reviews.

The other option is to buy a 3rd party Bluetooth adapter correct? Has anyone had any luck with these?
With the iphone 4 (OS4.1) can I use the steering wheel controls with a 3rd party BT adapter?

Cheers.

^^^^to add: Sorry, I should have done some further searching. I used the "search" function, but didnt spend any time in the ICE section.

Looks like the GROM module might be a good option; but will it work with 2nd gen mazda 3?
