Factory stereo interchangeable?

I wanted to know if the original Mazda 3 Stereos are interchangeable because I'd kind of like to sell mine to cover some of the costs from modifying my car. Just good info to know so I can sell it easier. Its from my 2008.5 Mazda 3 Hatchback. If they aren't interchangeable, if someone knew what years it fit that would be very helpful.

wouldnt work with 04-06's though...our technology wasn't high tech enough for the 07-09's :(

i beleive they are interchangeable 04-05 and 06-09 as the 06's were the first year they intoduced the screen beeing seperate from the headunit itself
