Can 205/55/16 tires fit on civic??

So i have a beater here which needs some new rubber. I have some winter tires for my mazda3 which I would like to transfer over.

The car is currently running 205/45/16 tires on the 16'' rims. I was wondering if my 205/55/16 tires will fit on the 16'' rim and will it clear if i mount them on the car? Looking at the pic below, they seem like there is more than enough clearance so no rubbing will occur when i turn the wheel fully but I would like some help before doing so. And Im not sure what the width of the rim is at the moment but currently the setup right now runs fine. will that exact 10 sidewall height affect the car??

its best if you stick with 205/45-16 range tires

55 is a little too big for a 96-2000 civic

your stock size is 185/65-14, so 205/45/16 is with in 1% which is fine

but if you change it to 205/55/16 I think thats around 6% difference

you can use it, but its not recommended
