I've never tried the McRib sandwich but am really interested. Has anybody sighted this in the GTA? How often does McDonalds bring this back?

whoa, its back??? Since when?
well, essentially the McRib is a piece of "Rib-O-Pork" cutlets available at your local M&M, on a kaiser, with BBQ sauce. My wife's mom used to make these when my wife and I were still younger. The special sauce was very similar to Diana BBQ sauce, but I really suspect its just McNugget BBQ sauce.

Nah, I don't think they are. I heard they were coming back on the Colbert report, election day, nation-wide. Not sure about Canada....

Mmm... Formed meat product, shaped to look like ribs, sans bones, then smoothered in BBQ sauce to prevent the taste of soy-protien and hooves. Delicious!

I remember this a long time ago like 1993/4 something like that when the first Flintstones live action movie came out. I think it has made it's way back in a couple of times since then.

I loved the pizza there. I think they stopped making it due to the amount of time it takes to "make" They were very reasonably priced as well.

That is indeed the reason why they stopped making them. It's so sad that they discontinued them...it's like a love story without the happy ending lol
F*** i miss that pizza

These things are soooo goood.
Although, I had a McRib last night from the McD's at McCowan and Finch and it totally sucked; they didn't put any sauce on. But the ones I get from McCowan and Hwy 7 are great! Tons of sauce.

Having worked at mcdonalds in the maritimes, here are the ingredients for the lobster.fresh lobster., whole claws and knuckles which they cut up in store, fresh cut celery and onions, and hell mans mayo, on top of lettuce on a hot dog bun. What's wrong with that, and why is it disgusting

I would love to try a McLobster. Does anyone know how much they cost? I was too cheap when Subways offered that lobster sub. I refuse to pay $20 for a sandwich from Subways.

Subways Lobster sub was super expensive.
I'd try a Mclobster... looks better than the rib IMO... or at least more acceptable to look as it does

It was $5.99 when I saw it, and $7.99 for the combo

I've never tried a McRib, I don't eat a lot of fast food, and if I do its the $5 Footlong from Subway, best deal ever I think ;)
I do however tend to make bad things at home after I have smoked or had a few to many to drink.
This was last weekends adventure with a friend.

That is, 2 port chops bbq and chopped up to make the bottom layer, then on top of that is tater puffs, bacon, melted cheese, pountine gravy over top. (Bacon and tater puffs were cooked together with some Wisers ;))
At some point, I will make the fast food lasgna :headbang
That is 1 helping, we each had plates that big lol...and this was done at 4:30am lol.

i wonder how the quality of the lobster is. seeing how everywhere else its expensive or you could just go to mcdonalds and get it for 4.99 on a hotdog bun. sounds disgusting to me lol

Hehe I can't believe the mcrib thread will gather this much activity. :)
I've stayed away from Micky D's for more than 7 months now (since the beginning of this year). Although, I do crave the fries once in a while... (talk about withdrawal, haha) :chuckle

Surprising that the McRib thread garnered this much interest since I posted my pics... Something about ribs and bbq sauce... mmmhh... tasty. lol.
If you want fries, try the Wendy's fries with sea salt - it's pretty good compared to McDonald's.
