View Full Version : 2010 Moonroof rattle

Just noticed this starting at the end of summer but I get a rattle right above my head where the moon roof is towards the front where it closes. Driving me crazy, just wondering if anyone else has this? I'll take it into the dealer but not sure what they will find.

No problems here... Does it only happen when the moonroof is closing or when you are driving with it partially open?

No moonroof noise here. Just the foolish wiper cowl/windshield mystery rattle.

Well I tested it out it happens when the moonroof is both open and closed. So I am wondering what it is. Because of the wind noise you can't hear it much but I know it's something up there because when I have the visor closed for the moonroof it is not as loud. One thing i hate is rattles man does it drive me crazy.

Well now the noise is gone, don't know what happened maybe the weather change......

Or the loose bolt rattled it self right out.....

Yes exactly what happened to mine. The bolts loosened and came out. You must screw em in b4 the motor falls out.
