I got them on the car now and since it's a new tire and I found no info, save from some Japanese site and one Norwegian review (Link (http://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=no&u=http://www.klikk.no/motor/bil/article505956.ece&ei=j-LQTPPsFcKanAf2kYXLDA&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CB0Q7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dfalken%2BEPZ%2Btest%26hl%3Den%26prmd% 3Div)) I though I'd start a tread for people who got the tire to tell everyone their experience.
So far for me:
Dry:
Pro: Much more quiet than the summer dunlops
Cons: Super soft (pro for when it's colder and there's snow and ice?). You can feel the tire blocks moving around when accelerating hard, might not be a problem for non-speed 3s. Stopping feels mushy. Turn in is also mushy and vague.

I'd ask Simply or Exclusive...they can probably provide you with the best answer...

That isn't the point of this thread.

The mushy feeling is best for winter snow/ice driving as thats what winter tires is suppose to be. Harder compound winter tires like the W300 hankooks are a little loud and don't work so well in snow.

Yes. Not my first car, not my first set of winter tires.

Just getting people's driving experience on this particular tires. Not asking people what they think. Thought it would be useful for people trying to decide. After all it seems to be available at a good price and if it's a decent tire could be a viable option over other more commonly purchased brands. There isn't a lot of information from actual usage of this tire in English. Hence the thread.

I just got a brand new set mounted on new steelies, it still has the stickers on them. they are sitting in the garage. I'm waiting for it to be colder before I put them on. I don't like that mushy feeling. Less noticeable when it is colder outside.
I have to remember to take the stickers off... Last time I was lazy and didn't remove them. I was giving my new Falken FK-452 a quick slalom test when the car almost fished tailed out :(

Finally getting a decent post!
For me the choice isn't so easy. Summers on the speed 3 so have to switch to winters now or risk hockey pucks on ice.

Very True... you may want to increase tire pressure a few PSI above recommended to help with some of the sloppiness you'll get with driving on dry roads so early with your Winters. It should stiffen the ride slightly and decrease extra rolling resistance you will get from the winters. You may want to adjust it back to recommend when you start seeing snow on the road to maximize traction.
