this year I 'm hoping to get some stuff for my man cave.
- BOSE Cinemate series
- larger projection screen
- LAZY BOY recliners
- Pool Table

...but probably end up getting socks and a hat with some silly greeting card that makes Fart noises everytime you flip it open

I know it sounds weird - But I dont want car parts.
I dont want my family to know how much this hobby actually costs.

Ewwww why would you actually WANT bose? Come on, at least get the decent box store stuff like klipsch or paradigm...or even better, don't go to a big box store at all for your stereo equipment.

same reason why I dont want car parts....I dont want them to know how much the hobby really costs.
If wifey knew how much I spent on the man cave - it would become the family room

Plus - I like BOSE - the cinemate series at least.

You can get something like this:

For about the same price and have a WAY better setup with real speakers and a real receiver.

I don't understand all this hating on Bose especially the cinemate series, If you want to see a really high end system go to your local Long and McQuade and take a look at the bose professional line. My Home theatre setup was all except for tv, reciever and centre channel bought at long & mc Quade, and cost less than the high end "packages" that you can get at the box stores and sounds better and louder!

i'm going for my sister's wedding. so you could come all expenses paid if you marry her. just 2 problems though:
1) you'd have to kill her fiance
2) I don't think Dora would appreciate it.
2a) unlses you can convince Dora that you'll leave my sister at the altar
2b) in which case i don't think i would appreciate it.

haha....

spend as much time as you can in a pool with warmish water, walking, swimming, light squats and so on. best thing in the world to rehab lower body injuries. the temperature and the pressure from the water naturally help with swelling and the boyancy reduces/eliminates stress on the joints
