I'm due for my third oil change, can anyone recommend a reputable shop I can get it done at? I live in Mississauga (Derry/McLaughlin area)

I know there are a lot of oil change places, but I kinda want to get it done at a shop where I will be going to for other services in the future.

I live in the same area as you but more towards the 407. I take my car to Direct Mazda for my oil changes. Fast fair and never had a problem.
Unfortunately I do not know of any local small shop mechanics to deal with anymore. Personally, when it comes to larger work I need done, I will probably be calling of Jimmy at Street Performance.

I hate QEW Mazda.

If you are due for your third oil change it sounds like you are due for your 1 year 24k service, basing it on Mazda's guidline of every 4 months or every 8k. The dealer for the 1 year 24k service will be about $220 + tax. If you are willing to drive a bit (we are located not to far from the 400) we do the same service for $149 + tax. Check out our sponsor section for more details if you want or you can contact me directly.

it's 24k or 1 year whichever comes first. For piece of mind with warranty issues, I'd still go once a year to get it covered.

24 k service is oil change (Inspect engine coolant level , Inspect function of all lights, Lubricate all locks and hinges, Replace engine oil, Replace oil filter) plus lubricating caliper slide rails/pins and inspecting disc brakes. The dealer's fee for a oil change is $40. Why a dealer charge $180 more to lubricate calipers is beyond me. A reasonable fee would be about $80. I got the oil change done at the dealer for $40 (so that the dealer have a record of oil change) and lubrication plus tire rotation for another $40 at the local mechanic.
