Still debating if I should grab 16s and steelies or just throw on a really good set of 17" winter's, anyone use the 17's any review's?
Their is alot of people on here who are running 17" snow tires without any problems

for 17" rims you'll be running with a lower aspect ratio or a thinner rim/tire combo if you want to keep a "deeper" sidewall. The reason people like to go with smaller rims for the winter is to keep a "deep" sidewall that gives your rim a little bit more of a cushion for those rough winter potholes. To keep a 17" rim and gain that deep sidewall you'll have to go pretty thin

I am running iPike 409s on the stock 17" rims. Works great.

The thinner the winter tire and the higher the sidewall, the better traction and grip you will have in the snow, slush and ice. The same 16" tire will outperform the same 17" tire in these circumstances. So, if performance is your key criteria, go 16" and not 17" on your winters.

Better off go with 16" wheels for winter. Better traction and softer ride.
That's what I did.

I'll run 18s. LOL. Just because my stock rims are sitting pretty in my garage.

I have the possibility of going with some 17X7.5 5x114 45mm after market alloy wheels for winter, instead of putting rubber on the stock 205/50/17 2010 GT rims.
Pros? Cons?
