I'm not sure that has anything to do with the app itself... I've seen that happen before with email money transfers (through Scotiabank too, coincidentally)...

hey now stop laughing at me haha. it only happened once.
it wasent through the app. it was through their site. the money somehow disapeared. i called and they ended up finding where it went. i didnt really ask and didnt really care. as long as i got my money back haha
and if you dont trust it dont use it. simple as that really.

If you bank online thru your computer, the sites are very secure. Iphone apps are not.

The TD app uses HTTP protocol to access your account. Meaning it access a web page instead of in app API. The TD has been flawless for me.

Had some issue with logging in after using the TD app...not sure if it was the APP itself though.
For some reason it changed my password a few times..so I had to reset it...

I never do banking using these apps. Even on my computer I only log in when I have a secure LAN connection. After I am done, I close the browser and clear the cache. Also change the password often and never use a word as your password that can be found in the dictionary. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Some might consider this overkill but I know some who "hack around" for fun and these safety precautions are necessary.

You know what I say....tell them to go ahead and break into my account, what are they going to do...Put some money in it for me..I don't keep large amounts in my account.
