Unless the wanker had the p0rn source on the dashboard, how the heck can one determine what the distraction source was?
I would not think he was topless ( then again anything is possible). If the kiddies can recognize what the dude was doing, then I would wonder what kind of parents they have......

The kids won't recognize right away but they WILL remember it -_- And then as they see more of it around (sex is everywhere nowadays), then they'll realize and think it's okay -_-

As wrong as it is, does it really matter how to report the driver? If I've learned anything, its to mind your own business. Nowadays you never know who the other person may be and the troubles you can get yourself into. Its their choice to be irresponsible by watching inappropriate videos while driving and will eventually learn their lesson, until then let it be.

I am sure you would feel the same way when you 6-7 year old kid asks you what the person in the other car is watching.

I did report it.

Mind your own business.

This is how "innocent" people get hurt in life.

Next time this happens, speed up or slow down so you don't have to explain anything to the kids.

Stop judging.

All this "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS" crap is literally making me sick. BE A MAN, do something about it, would you do something if you saw an old lady getting mugged, or a young child being abducted....Well by what your saying probably not because YOU might get hurt..WAA WAA, grow a set of balls. This douche bag watching porn in his car needs to be dealt with, all it takes is one phone call, whats the guy going to get the name of the person who called from the cops, and hunt him down.

I see all the fun in the post has been put aside. My position (he he) on this whole affair? Mind your own fawkin business.. pure and simple.
If you don't like it, speed up, change lanes, inch ahead if your at a stop light.
I appreciate that you don't want your kid to see this, and there is a time and place for everything but do any of the above to keep him out of eyes reach. Word of warning, unfortunatley the more unsupervised time your kids spend online, the higher the chances he may stumble across this same kind of stuff.
If he was watching UFC and you felt this was too violent for your kids eyes, would you still be upset over the whole affair, and feel something needs to be done about it?
Im not law expert, but what can the cops charge this guy with..come on really. Sorry it just seems you had viable options to deal with the situation, you and your kid were not tied up and gaged infrom of the 2 7" monitors.

Would you be saying the same thing if it was just a typical movie? IMO it was just hazardous that he was watching something while driving despite what he was watching.

The fact that it was porn kind of makes me laugh a little. Mostly because I think it's sad. Who the hell needs to watch porn when they are driving? This guy it seems.

They aren't dumb. In a way I have the same feeling. If I called in every single person I saw talking on a cell phone, using a GPS excessively or texting on their phone, it would be every 3 minutes. If someone was getting mugged/hurt, etc that would be a completely different story.

Watching video is very distracting and dangerous when driving. The fact that it is porn just shows that the guy is pathetic that's all.

What can they charge him with? Really? You wonder why they have to put precautionary labels on everything nowadays.... Careless driving might be appropriate if he caused an accident, and yes, there is a regulations against watching a movie while driving.

From the Ontario HTA:
78. (1) No person shall drive a motor vehicle on a highway if the display screen of a television, computer or other device in the motor vehicle is visible to the driver.
and then there are all the exclusions for GPS, instrument displays, etc. But definitely not for porn :p if you disagree, write your MPP!

Unless this guy learned how to drive his vehicle from the back seat, (as it was earlier reported that the monitors were on the head rests), then its CASED DISMISSED!!!

if it gets to the point of criminal charges then YES he gets your name
and you get to show up at the court house and meet face to face
so yeah if you see some old lady getting mugged yes step up and help
but the porn thing let it be FFS

You do realize you need a HeadUnit to play video on the headrests. Only one person in the car.

This whole thread is silly.

Okay Hana Montana, I guess anyone that has a different opinion than you is "dumb". Highschool. Btw, since when is being a pervert a crime? News flash Miley, but all guys are prevs and those who tell they aren't, are lying to your face.

I've seen many things on the road, from a dude screaming at this wife/gf to a guy that looked like dracula drinking a beer with the windows rolled down.

So what? What are we going to change by playing cop? People have their own issues and problems. Spend more time fixing your own and less time sticking your nose in others. Again, stop judging because one day you might be the one in the other person's shoes.

If it was on the headrests then how was the driver watching? Your story makes no sense and, to be honest, as inappropriate as it might be, I'm pretty sure that people are allowed to watch absolutely anything they want in their own vehicle(s), whether the windows are tinted or not.

With regards to the headunit remark, you do not need a headunit with a screen to play videos. In fact, 99% of the setups I've seen do not have it set up that way.

I dont know how ya'll watch pr0n but I'm sure watching pr0n requires more attention to the screen than drivers who text/talk on the phone. lol.

Porn is probably a lot less distracting than texting/talking. With porn, it's the same shit over and over again, you can focus on the road and use your imagination/experience to fill in the missing spots your peripheral vision can't cover for you.

As I see it, the main issue here, in regards to the headrests, is that the guy was probably not actually watching it himself, he was most likely playing it for the enjoyment of those around.

No, not everyone who has a diff. opinion than me is dumb, when did I say that? And when did I say being a pervert is a crime? I'm 21, I have determine that men are pigs, and some just hide it better than the others. lol.

"Again, stop judging because one day you might be the one in the other person's shoes.

BoostieMonster

I think the endangering other drivers part is the same as if you saw someone checking their hair, applying lipstick, eating, etc.....no matter what you're doing, it takes a split second of distraction to cause an accident. So don't try and separate watching porn to the other stuff. You can spend more time fixing your cowlick than watching a money shot....

As for the law, i'm guessing sure you can have porn going on in your car, just like you can have porn going on in your living room in plain view through the window, while pedestrians walk by and could catch a glimpse.

Mods. Please close this thread, as nobody has an answer for the original question.
P.S. I is not that I am against porn, my belief is that it should not be fully viewable in stop and go traffic. So I acted on my belief. This guy can park it and watch all he wants.
