Need help finding decent garage organization products.

Something like this:
http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p101/planetxerox/homedepot_16045Metal_Front_4.jpg

I'm looking for base cabinet with drawers, wall cabinet, and tall storage cabinet.
Price range of about $100-$150 per cabinet but tall storage cabinet price range of about $150-200.

Prefer good plastic material so that I can hose down my garage and not worry about rust or rotting.

Nothing too permanent since I want the option to take with me if I move.

I've checked Home Depot (they have Husky like the picture above but they've discontinued it and I've read reports of questionable quality), Canadian Tire, and Sears (their stuff seems over my budget) websites. I'll check out Lowes and Rona in person later this week (their website suck so can't do research online).

Any other places I can look at?
Any suggestions or tips for this in general?

Thanks.

I have a client that I deal with that does this kinda of stuff. They are out of London but it never hurts to call and see if they know anyone in the area that carries what you are looking for ext.

if you like the Canadian tire stuff, just wait a little bit, the will usually go on sale in and around the spring time. Sometimes their sales are 50 - 60% off on certain items.

I think costco has this kind of stuff as well. Check them out.

I know you said you wanted something plastic, but I'd highly recommend checking out the Habitat for Humanity Re-store, or some other second hand place to look for old kitchen cabinets. Or put a want add on Kijji. ALot of people would probably let you take all of the cabinets out of their kitchen if they're renovating for next to nothing. I had a friend who asked only $100 for all his kitchen cabinets. At that price you can afford to leave them behind if you move, plus you end up with something way more sturdy. Just an idea.

Trust me when I say this: build your own.

That's what I'm going to do. After browsing on garage-journal (forum) too much for my good, I have a schaweet shipment of tools waiting for me at the boarder, and a great resentment to what we have available here locally.

I've bought 3 of those husky cabinets (2 wall mounted, and one base) off craigslist for like $120, and am building the rest with good ole wood. Also grabbed two massive Vikkas(I think--the largest one available) worktops from Ikea for $15/piece. Some plywood, some 2x4's, and I'll have wall cabinets, base cabinets, a workbench, and a perimeter of soffit-cabinets lining 3 sides of the garage.

Shit, putting all that in writing makes it sound like a lot of work. (DOH!)

I have that very same set that you posted up above (Husky). They kind of suck. One of the cabinets I cannot keep closed and the slightest gust of wind causes it to flap open. They were a royal pain in the ass to find too...

Garage-journal as mentioned above, has a TON of ideas.. Building your own might be your best bet, although I like the look of an off the shelf product.

(Now that I think of it, the quality and sturdiness of these cabinets aren't all that bad. They hold a ton of heavy tools and feel very solid. It's the fragile plastic latches that keep the doors closed that I have a problem with... If you can find them cheap on Craigslist, they are hard to beat.....)

Thanks for everyone's input.

I really don't have the time to build my own from scratch or from old kitchen cabinets. At the same time I don't really want it to look like kitchen cabinets either. I want it to look and feel like garage furniture.

I quickly checked craigslist and kijiji and didn't really find anything - a few odd pieces here and there but not really what I'm looking for. But then again searching for "garage cabinets" doesn't return the most relevant results either.

I checked Costco and they have nice looking sets (it looks like they only come in sets) but over my budget.

Hiring a company to custom build would be nice but I think that would go over my budget too.

I signed up at the garage journal. Definitely a good resource to get ideas on painting schemes and other stuff.

I checked Lowes and they have some nice ones by Black and Decker. Canadian Tire also has a set made by Black & Decker (currently on sale) but it must be an older model since it's less expensive and has less features (for example they don't have base cabinets with drawers). So far I think I might buy what I can from Canadian Tire (wall cabinet and tall cabinet) and buy the base cabinets with drawers at Lowes. Measurements look good and they look similar enough so they should look and fit okay.
