Just wondering if anyone here has a US postal box or mailing address? I want to pick up an Ipad from the Apple.com black Friday sale....only ships to the US though.

It's a bit out of your way, but http://www.bluewatershippingdepot.com/
It's nice and close for Londoners like me though.

Honestly Ami, I would hold-off on the iPad.

I had one, and sold it a month later. Its a great and amazing device, but something new is on the horizon and with the BlackBerry PlayBook coming out soon, expect Apple to lower the retail price either way. And rumor has it the new iPad will be announced or released in January of 2011.

That is unless, the Black Friday sale is amazing at the Apple store =]

I've already had the chance to test out the Playbook, works really nicely, but I prefer the larger screen and app store on the ipad. Ipad2 is late February/March at the earliest, and the main features rumoured to be changed(thinner, camera), don't mean much to me. Price is only $50 off, but already $50 less than Canada, so total I think will be worthwhile if I can find a way to make the logistics works.

Thanks for the offers folks. Luckily, Apple Canada matched the US offer. So I just ordered from Canada.

I would be in on that. Then we just need someone to make the run to pick up items from the box.

What happens though when someone gets dinged with duty, etc the border?

they would have to reimburse the person who picked up, before they receive their goods.
