So my wife won $1000 on a scratch ticket tonight..waahooo. Anyways thought it would be an interesting thread to see what people have won, where they won it, and what lottery/casino you got it from??

I've won jack shit at the lottery whenever I play. However, 2 of my colleagues at work split a $250K 649 encore win about 10 years back and one of the cooks in the cafeteria won the lottery money for life jackpot. He took the lump sum option instead of the monthly payments for life.

Damn I wish I was lucky like that. FML. :)

that happened to me twice! Once it was my mom it was a "snakes and ladders" card and turned the wrong way coming up a ladder thought we had won $50,000. the other time was when KFC had those scratch for $1,000,000 contests, 9 spots, you can only scratch 3, if you scratch more than 3 the ticket is void. first scratch $1 million, 2nd scratch $1 million, 3rd scratch $10,000. So I win nothing, guess what i see when I scratch the rest of the card since I lost anyway.... :bang :flaming

I've won the NASCAR Proline Pools three times since they started doing it 5 years ago. First one was $5800, the second one was $1400 and the last one was only $380.

A number of years back I played the same 6/49 number twice by accident - ended up winning about $2300 on each one!
Wife's aunt won 2mill a few years ago, cousin in Montreal won 250grand, good friend I went to high school with - his dad won 2million AND to top it off, won 250grand the following week!!!
But the most fun I had was walking into a Bahamas casino without a cent on me, I was checking it out for later, I found a $1 chip - and after some slots, black jack and roulette, walked out with about $700.
Pretty sure my luck has run out...

I play poker in Niagara pretty regularly. (Usually just 1-2 blinds)

The best day I ever had was starting with $200, (which is the max you can start with) and walking away from the table about 8 hours later with just under $5000. All of which went towards my buying my Speed3!!

when I lived in Niagara on the lake I would go to casino Niagara about 3 times a week, usually broke even have lost tons of money won a few thousand playing black jack but overall even going to the casino's.

Although best outting ever was going in with $20 about 12 hours later was drunk as a mofo, got a number, had enough money for boston pizza, and still had $100 left over...Lost the money(next day), lost the girl, and eventually lost the food to..lol
