Hello
I just got some mazda3 2008 gt wheels (mine is a 2005 hatch)
they are 17inch and the tire size is 215 55 17 VS 205 50....
will they fit with out rubbing or see a huge diff on my speedometer
the good thing is they are brand new ! still have sitckers on them from Canadian Tire
they where 600 bucks used.. with the crome lug nuts
They might rub... Also your speedo will be way
I wouldn't intall those tires

Tires are not that expensive, sell the ones you have on the rims, and get the proper size

Wrong size... run a 205/50/17 or 215/45/17 on your stock wheels.

Even if it doesnt rub, it is totally the wrong size for the car. Kal Tire knows this.

anything above 3% difference is not recommended, do not use these tires

they were used off craigslist i didnt know they where the Wrong size until i looked at the tire sizes from a gt...
the other guy got 18" tires and rims and had these as back up.
who would have thought that they would put wrong tires on a car and spend 800 dollars in the process....
Anyways
Any one know what car would take a tire size 215/55/r17?
and whats a good used price for 4 new tires that are no good for me
:(
i may end up waiting till the spring anyways as i dont want to pay to have them removed when they will do that anyways to mount new tires....

From the pic, it looks like Goodyear Allegras Check canadian tire price and sell them at a mini loss vs. what canadian tire sells em for and you should have a quick sale off craigslist/kijiji :thumbsup. Then wait til early spring and some sponsors and tire places will have early bird deals.

The old Allegra is discontinued at CTC.. They now have the Fuel Max.
Check the date code, as you probably have fairly old tires! A Brand new Allegra FM at CTC would cost $550 + tax right now for a set. Sell them for $400 on Kijiji, and cut your losses.
