If it is anything like WWE events which I went to religiously for like what it seems 10 yrs....if your not buying through pre-sale and experience ticketmaster fail, then first seats you'll see on your screen will be 100 level.

Ya, you'll def have to buy pre-sale. So that means joining the UFC fight club (for like $80), then you get first crack at the tickets. That's what I had to do to get tix to the Silva/Leites card. And even then, tickets went on sale at 3pm, and everything except nose bleeds were gone within 15 min. Nice cash grab Dana....well played.

lol this isnt the Bills and isnt being presented by Rogers. I can see 1st/2nd row possibly that high but not further. Also, they want a sellout and have a larger attendance probably then Wrestlemania....SO they will probably be how they usually are for usual UFC ppvs with CDN rip off increase :thumbsup.

As much as I'd like to go to a UFC event, I don't see the appeal in going to the venue to end up watching everything on the big screen anyways. My friends have gone to Montreal twice for UFC and they've always said they missed a lot of the action. I'd rather go to a bar or get together with some friends and watch it on a big screen. I don't need to spend money for bragging rights. I'd rather watch the fights.

Precisely.
Gather 4 friends, everyone pitch in $10 and order the fight on PPV in HD. Drink your own beer, order some pizza, win.

Having worked Wrestlemania@Skydome on the floor (was a food vendor back in the day)...they will try to push close to 70,000 (68237 attendance for Wrestlemania) as possible within reason and it is expected to shatter every record...gate, attendance in north america, for UFC, and based on those two fights...possibly ppv buys?...for an MMA fan, that will be a historic night.

Talk about milking it

I'm pissed on all sorts of levels
UFC 129 may be a sellout but the Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel is offering a room with a view of the mixed martial arts show.
For $1,300, the hotel attached to the Rogers Centre is offering a room for four people to watch the April 30 pay-per-view card. The room windows open and the hotel says the sightlines are "similar to Sections 200 and 300."
"This is a fantastic way to watch the event," the hotel says on the website.
It works out to $325 a head.
Tickets ranged from $300 to $800 on the floor and $50 to $225 in the stands when they went on sale.
The show was so popular that the UFC put additional tickets on sale, resulting in a sellout of 55,000.
Stubhub, a ticket reseller, had some 621 tickets at $332 or less as of Monday morning. It had 1,811 in all, ranging from $79 to $28,999.
Hotel general manager Mark Ive said the hotel had been late with UFC viewing options because of a "contractual situation." But he said 60 of the hotel's 68 stadium view guest rooms were available as of Monday morning.
"If you don't have tickets for the event, then I have a solution for you, which is a little cheaper than buying tickets online or from a scalper," he said.
Some of the room price goes to the Rogers Centre and the UFC.
A room with a UFC view comes with rules.
There's a maximum of four to a room and guests will have to wear wristbands to be admitted to their floor. Alcohol can't be brought in but can be purchased off the special event menu. Outside catering isn't permitted.
Banners aren't allowed in the windows and there may be restrictions on lighting in the room.
"A lot of the rules are really just to make sure everybody has a good time and a safe time," said Ive.
"Having this many people in for any event, with the mixture of alcohol can create security issues," he added. "We learned a lot when we do NFL."
The 348-room hotel offers viewing deals for other events at the domed stadium, although rarely for concerts since the stage is usually right in front of the rooms.
