Now i got my car in April this year 2010 sport gt, and about two weeks in i notice a rattling noise coming from the front right speaker. This noise only comes when a particular level of bass is played. That wasn't as annoying, but a few days ago the driver side speaker just plain out sounds like it's blown every single song regardless of pitch it makes a weird noise. Now i listen to my music at bout 18-20 volume most of the time, but once in a while i blast it at 30-33 lol just for fun. But yea.. any one else have this problem and will my warranty cover it?

Warranty...........FTW
You think warranty will cover this? That's like driving through a pile of nails and getting a flat, then claiming it...

hey, this was my high school car , its only understandable that i blast some drake once in a while:chuckle. And ye i looked into today and the drivers side speaker puts out distorted audio like its blown. This happened out of no where I thought the problem only existed with the passenger side. And Bluemazda3 i got it from Prima.

The radio should put out power reletive to the speakers handling capacity. I should be able to take any purchased CD and play it at max without any issues. Playing your Ipod through the Aux jack is even easier as the volume out of the Ipod is never as loud as a CD. Unless you have the bass and trable settings on your stereo set to max and the volume maxed as well, the speakers should be fine. Warranty......should cover it.....

speakers die because of amp overload (yes, there's a tiny one inside the head unit), which causes the audio to clip... clipping = flat lined wattage and that kills the speaker coils
speakers need AC power to work properly... after all, audio are just waveforms

im not an expert in this topic. I use my speakers almost 95 percent of the time im in the car, i would say 95 percent of the time they are on 15-20 volume, my base is usually at 1-2 and treble is at 6 all the time. I do once in a while i would say abuse them, but only for a song or two. My real question being would the warranty cover it?

yes it should
if you hear audio distortions at loud volumes (it'll sound like the audio is breaking up or crackling), that is called clipping... a good example is playing back something loudly on a cheap $20 portable radio, or max volume on your cell phone's speakerphone
