They look great but I still think it's a sin to change those beautiful wheels.

what was their process of powdercoating? Did they sandblast first? How many coats of powdercoat and clearcoat?

I'd been thinking about powdercoating the MS3 rims a similar colour when (if?) I get a set myself.
Nice to see some finished product shots - very, very nice. :thumbsup

i really want to see these on a 04-09. i know rob has the r3's but these would look sick on a black sedan, in gloss black (hint, hint to any black sedan owners) lol

Also interested in knowing this. I might be looking into getting some rims powdercoated for the spring.

Very nicely done. The look so nice. Gotta say my favorite stock rim yet created by any company is the R3 and these look just like it. Maybe not the same light weight but hey looks pure sexiness!!!!

Yes Sandblasted. No Clear. Shine is part of the powder finish. He has samples on metal so you can see how final product will look.
Like clear on my car paint a good stone going through it, the paint and to the metal. So I liked the finish see not the expense for another layer and cost saving going to tire budget.
He also does a chemical clean and straight on powder coat for like $40 rim and Steelies just the face for $100 set.
Had a set of mustard yellow steelies going out for a subaru in a flat finish. He does alot of the subaru club.
This pic is what I saw on the civic forum that made me check him out.

do you know if they would take care of any curb-rash? Or would that have to be taken care of before hand. I assume I would have to do it myself....man that's a lot of work :P
