I am looking to buy new tires in either 215x45x17 or 225x45x17 summer or all season not winter. what i am mainly concerned with is how noisy the tire is.

So what make of tire is recommended that won't break the bank, that is quiet, handles decently. My car is Mazda3 sport GT 2010. Kuhmos don't cut it, I had them on my last car and found them really noisy. I have seen the Sumitomo HTRz111 recommended.

I have the Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 (All Seasons) at 225/45/17, Look real good to me, nice deep thick treads. Not noisy at all. Handling is on par to Yokohama Envigors (Tirerack comparison review).

GoForTires gave me a real good deal, if I had to buy them again I would. The wear on them is real good, looks like they should last 3 years or so.

I've only driven in hankook i409....it's definitely more noisy than the stock all seasons but bearable...

With music the music on...can't even hear the road noise
