05 gt sedan .. low k's ... never beaten ... auto

when i come to a stop light or idle in 'drive' or 'reverse' i get obnoxious vibrations.. more than usual. park or nutreal all vibration is gone. i know its normal to feel a difference when idling in drive and in nutreal. but this is just crazy. has this happened to anyone else? any suggestions? tranny flush? otherwise still shifts great while driving.

thanks

Doesn't sound like the tranny to me.

Motor mounts and maybe a tune up? The engine is shaking and the vibrations are carrying through the cabin/car.

Definitely seems like the common 3rd engine mount problem. You can buy it from MoT with a member discount for a bit over $90, and get it installed for under $100.

Have a mechanic look at it though. Try Jimmy at Street Performance (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?17212-Street-Performance) in Markham or Dave and M&D (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/forumdisplay.php?259-M-amp-D-Executive-Auto) in North York.
