HID not shining as bright

My HID aren't shining as bright as when i first bought them. Especially the driver side one because when i look into it, it doesn't really make me want to look away. The passenger is obviously brighter but looks weaker than when it was new. I was wondering is it the ballast or should i just get new bulb? Bulbs no longer look clear, but translucent.

how long have you had them for? ive had my HIDs for a year with no problems.

ive only had them for 9 month give or take...

could be the bulb or the ballast, you'll have to do some trial and error. id suggest replacing the bulbs first because they are cheaper. or i think i saw in another thread your getting angel eyes installed, get dan to check out your hids while hes doing that..
