Hey guys don't know if any of you have had this issue, but while driving at 140km/h+ on the highway do any of you notice that the car jerks from side to side very easily ? By that I mean the steering is almost too responsive, it almost feels like it can easily spin out if you hit a pump on the road. The car almost feels like it floats from side to side. Just to let you know I have an 06 maz3, manual transmission with everything stock.
Thanks,
Manpreet

look at the speed your going at....140? why do you need to go that fast anyways? your not autocrossing..
AND
yes it's going to be highly responsive..try jerking the car around at 60km/h isn't as easy is it?? no.

Not that anyone should do 140km/h on the highway...but in the proper locations in my experience the cars are very stable at 140+ unless there is some amount of headwind or cross wind at which point things can get a little floaty. Also, the GX and GS with 15" rims and the not so low profile tires are a little more vague.

Are you an idiot? I have to assume you are if you are driving 140km/h. Drive a normal speed and quit complaining.

well to answer your question instead of insult you ... no my car doesn't jerk from side to side i just notice the steering wheel shakes a bit but that's because of my bad alignment :p other then that it stays straight.

Hey thanks to those who have answered much appreciate it I guess I will double check the alignment and balancing again as I suspect/assume that they would have done so when putting on the new tires. As per the 140km, i'm pretty sure all of you have hit that speed before. I am not doing it on a consistent basis cuz that's just dangerous but it just occurred to me the other day when I was at the 130km/h to 140km/h line that the car easily floats around and it never happened to my 95 corolla at around those speeds.
Thanks,

Do you have a base model sedan?
lol not that I don't love a good roast but come on ppl... lets not throw stones here... I am SURE every single person on here has gone 140 on the hwy at some point or another... I know I have... If the hwy was empty I would go 140 all the time... BUT that being said, there is almost NEVER a time where I can actually do that on the hwy in the GTA

Yepper....exactly what I was thinking.
I have done 140 before in a number of different vehicles ..but it was never a sustained speed, way before the stunt driving laws, and only when there were other people doing the same thing in order to minimize my chances getting caught.
Anybody ever drive down the steep hills along airport road through Hockley Valley and that area?
Sometimes you gotta 'give it to 'er' down these hills in order to maintain the speed limit
while you climb the next.
