You guys know torrents run on P2P too right? Limewire/BearShare/etc run off P2P, but via the gnutella network.

Yeah maybe I should have been a bit more specific. P2P software such as limewire, kazaa, and the sort blow. The quality of songs is questionable. I remember some songs would be messed up with the weird matrix noise lol

:P The music industry apparently tried a few things to stem the tide, but were met with extreme backlash - One of the things were to flood the P2P networks with phony mp3s, such as the ones with the wierd noises.

They've also tried malicious code tied to MP3 tag info, encryption on CDs, etc.

I used to use Limewire but it got shutdown so i use frostwire again, cant beat it:thumbsup

Itunes if I need one song...torrents for a band I'm checking out..and I still buy cds and rip them.
