is it a full replacement or just a mod to the actual oem lights....?

This looks like just a mod to the OEM lights. I'd love to do this but I don't feel comfortable opening up my lights.

The ones that you linked to are standard angel eyes. Are you refering to the 'triangular' lights on the left of that picture? If so, that's what the DRL look like on the '10+ GT and MS3 models.

these will only work 50% on your car. The speed has that funky drl setup where the half ring is suposed to sit.

thats what i did to my sedan about 1 year ago. I am still in the testing process of trying to fit the 10 headlights in my oven however. I have a prototype that works but not perfected. Their is no aftermarke headlight support for the 10s as of yet. Even if they had you would be obligated to getting ones with the auto swivel and levelling function. as my old sedan (gt-e) and all the speeds have these functions. you will need to find a set through ebay. But you will have to careful to what you buy. Their is the regular set you can get like posted in the earlier posts or the gt set which will have bixenon but no swivel and then the gt-e which has swivel and bixenon. You could theoretically go down to a gt trim headlight without swivel but it will set off an error light on your dash.

sounds like a pain to get it set up with the features of he s3 inact I'm probably better off avoiding it all together
Thanks for the info

You can modify the lights that you have the only problem is with that is you only have the one set so if something were to go wrong you would be screwed. Fortunatly those headlights i posted were not my originals. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a spare set. i still have them, but I am going to paint the white part black this time and put it in my speed.
i forgot to mention the 2010 front headlights are completely identical hatch and sedan
