autodvdgps 2010 m3 headunit question

:bang not sure if im posting this in the right section, i purchased a dvd/gps unit from autodvdgps.com , i installed it yesterday and everything seems to be working fine, it has had a cpl minor kinks but all in all worth the money. Anyways i didn't purchased the sd card with the preloaded maps so im just wondering if it was possible to download free maps onto a microsd card instead, ive searched around but have had no luck, any light on this issue would be great, thanks

For example I will be listening to music off the sd card and if I switch to listening to music thru bt , when I try to go back and listen to music on the sd card it won't load up. Sometimes the icons won't respond when pushed, gotta reset the unit. That's about it for now, bt works amazing, easy to install, almost a perfect fit. The sound is better with the unit, steering wheel controls work great, and cars LCD screen up top still displays temp, time, mode.!I just want to find out if it's possible to download maps or torrent apps to install on the unit

Great thanks for the link, I'll try downloading tt6 with the maps to the sd card and pop the card into the unit and hopefully it will work. Have you tried it?

I don't have the unit unfortunately yet. I'm looking forward to get it in a few months.

no luck with the tomtom6, i also downloaded a igo8 torrent and tried loading it to the unit, when i put in the sd card and open the igo file an icon called autorun.exe pops up but when i try and open that nothing happens! im not great with computers so its frustrating! :bang

Someone who has loaded the IGO files should hopefully see this and help with the problem.

Are you still looking for the Maps. I'm pretty sure I have it saved on my computer and don't mind giving you a copy of it.

Hey, yeah I do. Do you have the maps and the igo primo program? I've been having a hell of a time trying to arrange the files and tamper with the sys.txt to try and get it to work on my double din.
