I'm looking to grab some new goggles and maybe some other things. Anyone work at a Ski Pro, Corbetts, or even SportChek, etc?

Hoping to save maybe a couple of dollars. :)

I have a pair of bindings that I'm looking to help a friend sell if you need 'em. He's asking for $100 OBO. for K2 indy bindings. Used once.

even if you've got employee discount at sportchek, there's really nothing worth getting in terms of hardgoods there for ski/snowboard.

Yeah I agree about SportChek.

Naw just looking for a discount lol. I have all of my equipment, just need some new goggles and I was looking at grabbing the Smith Skullcandy Helmet Audio Kit (Single or Twin-Tip) or something like it.

if you are looking for goggles, i highly recommend oakley crowbars or splice and smith phenoms.
skiis and biikes had oakley's on for 20% off, not sure if it's over or not yet though.

dang, if you find a discount, let me know too...... hahah...
but really, if you can't find local, buy in buffalo. depending on what you are looking for, it's way cheaper. ex: crowbars in canada cost about 130. in the US it costs about 100. depending on the lens you get,

I've got an extra board bag if you need it! lol.....

Skiis and Bikes still has that sale on as I went there today. Left though after the damn sales girl left me standing there for over 20 min while she helped some snobby skiing family. :bang

I am actually thinking of the Smith Phenoms actually.

Where is a good place to go in Buffalo?

Board bag - got one.

BTW, I'm not a noob boarder. Been doing it for over 10 years. Just been on hiatus for a little while. :)

haha.. yah, i noticed from other posts and stuff that you aren't a noob!
but i just had personal experience with those goggles and they are reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good. haha.

sorry, i meant to say buy and ship to a post box in buffalo. or to a friend in the states if you've got one. i don't know of any specific shops in buffalo to go to, though you could probably google it and find a few. i am lucky enough to have relatives in california and florida, so i buy stuff from US sites and ship it to them. almost 1:1 on the dollar and no tax..... that fact on top of the cheaper retail price makes it really worthwhile. i know a few other members mentioned they have a post box in buffalo too.. (were you one of them? i forget)

like, i bought a set of union force bindings for about 180 canadian total. meanwhile they retail for 270 + tax here.

Ya buying in the US is usually cheaper and thats nothing new. I don't think anybody is going to have major hookups so I would just find the googles u want and then try to find them online for cheap and have the person send it from the US as a gift.
