Hello,
I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with EMM over the past 3.5 years I have owned my Mazda 3 Sedan.
My first problem came when my car was delivered nearly 2 months late. I let that slide because I was able to get the dealership to float me a loaner car.
Within a month the windshield breaks, and the dealership refuses to warranty. being a law student, and having family members who are practicing lawyers, I was able to negotiate a new windshield from them, the average person probably would experience difficulty.
The first time I brought my car in for an oil change, it took them almost 3 hours to complete the service.
Needless to say, three years later, when my lease was due, I decided to invest in my car and buy it out-right.
I wanted to get some information about the leasing company, and the dealership offered zero assistance.
Finally I was able to google and hunt down what I needed, and went into the dealership where I was forced to speak with a specific agent, and wasn't given the option of choosing my sales agent.
I was out in front of a Man who I was only say was named P...
This man was of no help whatsoever...
I left and continued my research on my own, later deciding to buy the car.
Came in a day later and gave the guy a certified bank cheque for $13,000.00
he agreed to have the ownership arranged and plates to be left the same.
Called him up the next day, the guy didn't even remember who I was... and further, wouldn't help... he kept saying that it was in the hands of the sales manager now... Ie he got his 400 bucks commission, or whatever it was, and didn't care...
The only person that didn't have their head up their ass was the sales manager, i think his name was Pradeep or something.
So i wound up having to chase the dealership for my transfer of ownership, which took several days longer than it should. No explanation given.
Today I had to take my car in for service, my power steering column had been recalled due to a defect. I arrive on time and ask for assistance, from the counter. Several staff are standing around behind the counter talking, and none of them want to help me... finally one person rolls their eyes and says fine I will go do it... Needless to say the service from that point was all down hill. I got a call at 12 saying my car was ready, and they would be arranging my shuttle to pick it up... it's now 2:10 and I am told the guy will be around to pick me up at 3:00... Again not impressed.
I used to hate talking about EMM, but now I love it. I have an opportunity to warn people about group that owns the majority of southern ontario mazda dealerships, and steer them away from making an investment from people who offer questionable service.
Best of luck in the future, Caveat Emptor, and let this be your warning about the service.
