Have you had any leakage? My moonroof was recently re-aligned as it made a annoying clicking noise each time I tilted it and since then, I now get a creak when I close the Moonroof. I never had any issues with Petro Glide and Esso touchless around my area. I recently went to one at Donmills and Finch near Fairview and once the pressure washers started to wash the top, I started to have water spitting into me but not that much. Is that a sign of the weather strip dying? This happened to me last week and I never had issues before.

Yep. Just close the shade. Mine has always done this a little bit.

Ya my 2010 GT only lets the most intense jet spray in but I lubed up all the seals on my doors and moon roof to prevent cracking and I havent had a sticky door or a car wash leak since.

Any reason why? I find when the dryers go through my moonroof, it makes a huge rumbling noise and it sounds like the moonroof will come off

My mazda never had a issue with the powerwashes. i use to wash the car 3 times a week in the winter, and in the summer lots of toonie washes.
interesting, take it to the dealer and get them to fix it. wouldnt want any corrosion on the inside of the car.

I've got an aftermarket sunroof and I wash my car twice a week and have ZERO issues with mine leaking. +1 on bringing it into the dealer or to Total Auto Glass & Sunroof where I got mine to be checked out.

I've had minor spray once or twice but not consistent. And even then, it's just a drop or so, much less than what gets in when I have my window slightly open in the rain or as it starts to rain.

Even though you did it and I want that sunroof, I'm still hesitant on getting aftermarket.

Kept my moonroof shade open today while going through the touchless. No spitting of water coming through. I did have the issue once but it was just how the moonroof closed. It probably didn't close properly but hasn't happened since.

What a lot of people don't understand is that when the car is made it isn't made with a sunroof. The sunroof gets put in after the car is put together so it is still being cut in just its getting in at the factory. I have a lifetime warranty on my sunroof which covers me on literally everything. I too was hesitant but after talking to Mazda directly, and them informing me to go there as they have sent cars to get them installed after point of purchase I wasn't worried.

The moon roof on my 05 leaked since day one. I think the problem is the springs are not strong enough withstand the pressure from the water and opens a small gap when high pressure water is sprayed directly on the roof. Now I just push against the glass from inside when I go through car was.

+1, my only leaks a bit if I don't close the shade
