I remember back in the day, it was always better to go on the last day of a show. Vendors are more willing to give you a better deal so they don't have to lug it back to their shop.

Worked with bigger items like seats, exhausts, etc. Not shift knobs and keychains

Any of you guys remember Audio Thunder many years back when it was an IASCA santioned event? Loved it, old skool car audio FTW!

I didn't go this year as I didn't want to halfass it by registering what I consider not a complete look. It's only the first show; many more coming up in the next 6 months so there's no rush.

Went this afternoon with -RJ3-, Bong and Ed. Thanks daruffestryder for the hookup on tickets.

Show was ....... Ok. Depending on the purpose of why you are interested in the show. I you wanted to go because of the Tuner side, it was mediocre at best IMO. That part of the show was definitely smaller in size than last year.

True enough. I like Mustangs,Camaros,Corvettes,etc. in terms of American muscle, but I can't get into the old classics section. It was just too hard for me to relate. I appreciate the efforts in keeping them mint after years gone by, but that's pretty much the extent of my interest.

If you are expecting a large turnout in cars, don't waste your time. I went because i knew some friends would be there. Hung out with kryingoutloud promotors Carlos and RuffRyder. Also chilled a bit with Stephanie, Tiffany, and Isabella.

Nice to see the regulars in competition!


Oh and I saw a mini Phil dancing. Should have took a pic!

I still want to go, simply for the love of cars. PW has always been more of a Muscle Car/Hot Rod show

But at this time, I'm gonna hold off for a larger Tuner-based show that has more vendors that Both my 3 and my Lancer can take advantage of.

My "Car-stuff" budget is taking a big hit this year, so (the wife says) I gotta be smarter with what it's spent on

I normally don't like civics, and I really am not a huge fan of red cars, but holy crap I love this civic. Lucky for me this guy works at an auto shop near my house, so I get to see it go through all sorts of changes.

I hope you spent a lot of time in the classics section. I only had a 1gb CF card with me (forgot my other two cards :() So I didn't get a lot of pics :(
To top it off, my gf took the good lens by accident, and I was stuck with the 70-300mm one, doh!

Some of the tuner cars were awful. IMO the tuner section keeps getting worse each year. Back in the Audiothunder days was when the show cars looked proper in the tuner area. I guess its b/c no one wants to prep their ride during the winter?

my buddies and I drove up to Mississauga from Montreal for the show and we took some pics and vids, however, I've been away since Sunday for work. I will upload the pics when I get back. The vid may take a bit longer as we need to edit the show vids and interviews we did with some of the models.
