Sup everyone,

So my employer is sponsoring some of my fellow co-workers and myself for the Becel Ride for Heart. I'll be riding the 75K route to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We are asked to raise a minimum of $200 so we can reach our company goal of $8000. I hardly ever do events like this but thought I'd give it a shot and ask TM3 for their support. Any donation is a good donation and can be made through my donation link.

Thanks everyone!

RIDE A BIKE. EXTEND A LIFE.

A bike ride is just a bike ride until it's Ride for Heart. This incredible event has been hosted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation for 24 years, raising crucial funds for world-class research that helps Canadians live longer, better lives. Last year, 13,000 riders seized the exhilarating opportunity to ride traffic-free along the Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway. The event sold out early - register now!

With multiple distances to choose from, the Ride offers a challenge for recreational riders and endurance riders alike. Take your pick from three ride routes - 25k, 50k or 75k.

It's something big that you can do. Register, fundraise at least $100 and be part of the 24th Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart on Sunday, June 5, 2011.

RIDE TO EXTEND LIVES

Heart disease and stroke takes 1 in 3 Canadians before their time.
9 out of 10 Canadians are at risk of heart disease or stroke.
Every 10 minutes, someone in Canada has a stroke and this rate is projected to double in the next 10 years. But it doesn't have to be this way. Be part of the solution. Your fundraising dollars not only support ground breaking research to help extend lives, but also enable preventative programs like Spark Together for Healthy Kids.

I dont think there's a minimum. If you can give $5, even $1 then I'll be happy. Any donation will move me that much closer to my goal.
